One of the experiences I most often get asked about is the Pick a Pearl Experience at Walt Disney World. There are four different locations where you can Pick a Pearl throughout the Walt Disney World Resort, they are located in Disney Springs, a kiosk at Typhoon Lagoon, a kiosk near the pool area at the Yacht and Beach Clubs, and lastly inside of the Japan Pavilion in Epcot's World Showcase. Prices and experiences at each location vary slightly, with an average price of $16.00, but the only experience that comes with a "show" is the location in Epcot's World Showcase.
When you arrive you will find a large tank filled with shallow water and oysters. To chose your oyster you must first pay for it and you will be given a number. When your number is called you will be asked to pick your oyster and then it will be opened for you.

After your oyster is opened you can choose to have it set in a piece of jewelry that they sell or they will package it for you to take home with you.
Tips:
- Depending on the day the Pick a Pearl experience can have a wait time. I would suggest if you wish to participate in the experience you purchase your pearl ticket as soon as you enter the store and browse while you wait for your number to be called.
- There is no science behind this that I am aware of but it has been said to pick the biggest, hairiest, ugliest oyster shell you can find. Supposedly these can have the prettiest pearl hidden within and have been lucky for us so far.
